Julie Haverkamp (1997) is a Dutch artist whose work explores the relationship between
landscape, memory and material. Inspired by the ever-changing landscapes of Ibiza, she
translates fleeting impressions into layered ceramic wall pieces and paintings.
Her practice is rooted in structure, texture and spatial composition. Individually formed ceramic
fragments come together to create unified compositions, where light, shadow and material
reveal new perspectives over time. Rather than depicting the landscape, her work captures the
traces it leaves behind.
Memory surfaces not as narrative, but as residue. Through texture, form and composition,
Haverkamp creates tactile works that invite a slower, more intuitive way of seeing and
experiencing landscape.
